How it plays

  1. Explore. Walk into the unknown and new forest tiles appear. Tiles hold ✦ events, ◆ items and ◈ Artifacts.
  2. Roll your stats. Every check rolls dice equal to your stat. Each die shows 0, 1 or 2.
  3. The Awakening. Each Artifact you find makes the forest stir. When the roll fails, the Awakening begins, and which Artifact it was and where it was found decide the story: a traitor may rise, or the whole party must band together.
